Hot Trends for Spring/Summer!

Here are some fun trends for summer 2011:

Hot Colors: Orange, blue, and white

These are the three colors that are bound to rule the season. Orange is going to be the most exciting color of spring. This vibrant and energetic color was used by many designers in their collections. Marni, Prada, and Issa used the hottest tints of orange for their dresses, tunics, and shorts.

Blue is going to be the new black for summer. Forte Forte, for instance, created several tunics in tones of blue for their new collection. Floral prints on blue are sure to make every woman standout whether they’re at the beach or at the metro.

White was a common element among the creations for the season. Fashion experts predict that short white dresses are going to be a huge hit. Skinny white pants, white boyfriend tees, and maxi dresses are forecasted to rule the season. And because we all need something to cover up our tube tops and bikinis, Viktor & Rolf created exceptional cardigans and blazers in white that are sure to go well with your dresses.

Hot Patterns: Stripes, Floral, Polka Dot

Stripes were seen in most designer collections but the huge, black and white stripes by Balenciaga stood out. Balenciaga created some of the most eye-catching striped dresses that could be worn for both day events and late-night parties. If you want huge stripes, Junya Watanabe’s eye-catching striped collection would be a perfect pick.

Polka dots. Just when you thought they took the exit because they were not seen in most Fall collections, polka dotted-pieces are back again. Most summer designer dresses featured a lot of tiny dots on shirts and dresses; and a lot of huge dots on gowns. But if you want something that you can wear casually every day, the polka dot jeans from Isabel Marant may just be the perfect choice. The collections from Junya Watanabe and Comme Des Garcons also included a lot of exceptionally stunning polka dots.

And here are some fun picks for summer that are more wallet friendly.....Enjoy! :)
